Tracksa's light posts are designed to be placed near the edge of the track and in the line of sight of the driver.  The sleek, curved design and flexible joint that supports the light post help dissipate force in the event of a collision.  The light post will bend at the base and allow the vehicle to pass.  This is a valuable function for karting and MX, where drivers are less protected than other motorsport types. 

 

The light post displays yellow, double yellow, green and red flags.  Blue lights are optional.
